After refining his craft in Santo Domingo, DR, he joined a collective of Haitian artists and became a founding member of FAPADECH.Since 2006, he has participated in Artisanat en Fête and exhibited annually at the U.S. Embassy in Haiti, as well as with the Canadian Embassy and at CARIFESTA 2016. Today, his paintings—marked by patience, precision, and quiet strength—are collected in Haiti, the U.S., Canada, and France

Description:

Palette de Voilier is a celebration of rhythm, motion, and vibrancy. A cluster of boats with towering sails drifts across still waters, their reflections shimmering in fiery reds, ocean blues, and golden hues. The sails themselves, painted with bold strokes and textured layers, rise like monuments of resilience and expression.Through abstraction and intensity of palette, Ghesilhomme transforms a familiar maritime scene into something almost musical — a chorus of colors carried by the wind. The painting suggests not only travel and livelihood but also joy, unity, and the power of collective movement upon the sea.
