Today, his paintings—marked by patience, precision, and quiet strength—are collected in Haiti, the U.S., Canada, and France.

Description:
Marabou is a portrait of quiet strength and radiant dignity. Against a soft gradient of gold and green, a woman’s profile emerges—her face serene, her head wrapped in white, her earrings cascading in graceful circles like echoes of resilience.

With masterful restraint, Guesilhom Jean Batiste turns simplicity into power. The contrast between her deep complexion and the luminous fabric creates a striking harmony, evoking both purity and presence. Every detail—the layered texture of the headscarf, the glint of metallic hoops—speaks to pride and endurance carried with elegance.

In Fanm Djanm, Jean Batiste honors the spirit of Haitian womanhood—rooted, unbreakable, and luminous from within. It is not merely a portrait, but a hymn to identity and inner grace.
