Description:
Fanm Dlo is a minimalist tribute to grace, labor, and lineage. With just a few deliberate lines and bold contrasts, Guesilhom Jean Batiste captures the timeless image of a woman carrying water—an act both ordinary and sacred.

Her elongated silhouette, adorned in white against a radiant golden background, evokes purity and endurance. The black vessel she balances with effortless poise becomes both a symbol of sustenance and a crown of quiet dignity. The absence of facial features allows her to stand as every woman—strong, steady, and essential.

In Fanm Dlo, Jean Batiste distills complexity into elegance. It is a portrait of movement and stillness, of devotion and resilience—an homage to the women who carry not just water, but the continuity of life itself.
